Spaghetti Squash

    Spaghetti squash! I love spaghetti squash sooooo much! my favorite i made was a Parmesan and Herb recipe.  I just add some powdered Parmesan and spices like parsley (lots of it!)   Rosemary, and any other spice in your cupboard. There is so many options for spaghetti squash. just play around and taste as you go and you will get a perfect recipe!!

It's this time of year again!

What year you may ask? Carving pumpkins of course!!! my family is very competitive and so we are seeing who has the best pumpkin. We put it on the wonderful Facebook and mine is winning!!!!! Nobody knows whose is whose.....  Which is your favorite? leave a comment!!!

Ohh my goodness...... CUTENESS! a R2D2 trash can!! all you have to do is find a white trash ca, trace on the buttons and such then paint pr color on with sharpie! i love!!

The Best Key lime Pie Recipe!

So, there are many versions of Key Lime Pie but i believe this is the best one yet!!!


Ingredients for the pie:
1- 9inch  graham cracker crust pie shell
1- 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
3 egg yolks(no whites!)
2 Cups lime juice

combine all ingredients until smooth. Pour into pie shell and bake at 350degrees F for 15min. Let stand for 10 min. before refrigerating.
                                 Top with whip cream!

Clafoutis

Clafoutis( Cla-foo-tee) is a french breakfast and dessert. I love making irt and it is so fast and easy!


Clafoutis
4 eggs
2 cups milk or rice milk
1/3 cup flour
1/3 cup sugar
1/4 t salt
1 t almond extract or vanilla extract
1/2 cup fresh or frozen fruit. (i like to use raspberries or blueberries)
   Place eggs, milk,flour, sugar,salt,and extract in a blender. Blend for about 30 seconds. Pour into a quiche dish or oven proof glass dish. put fruit on top and cook at 350 F for 45 min. or until Clafoutis is not very jiggly.
        I like it best when cold but can be eaten either way. refrigerate leftovers!

Frozen oat Drink

So here is a recipe for those of you out there who don't like oatmeal but want to get all the benefits from it. this is an oatmeal drink that i love!!( i also very much dislike oatmeal.. it's so slimy)

Frozen Oat Drink
1 cup ice
1/2 cup frozen fruit
1/2 cup plain yogurt
1 banana
1/2 cup !!!UNCOOKED!!! oats
1 T honey
1 cup liquid (you can use any kind of liquid, i sometimes use pineapple juice or even water works.)

                                     Blend all together and drink!

Romeo and Juliet- final performance

so today at 8 is the last performance of Romeo and Juliet. i want to thank all the cast members... they are all awesome!!thanks to everyone who saw it and wished me luck!

Sooooooo. Guess what? I am Abraham in the play Romeo and Juliet!!! It is a production at the Davis arts council in Layton Utah. Check out the pictures of the cast during reheresal at the Davis arts council's facebook page. If you want to come see the play it is at the Layton Amphitheater. This video is so adorable!  It's so sad that pandas are becoming extinct. We should All try to save them and leave them untouched and unharmed in the wilderness. Study's show they are better off in the wild then in captivity so we should leave them there. Please protect the pandas!

Parrish Canyon Pictographs

On the 18th my parents and I went on a little hike to Parrish Canyon Pictographs. It was so much fun and really pretty up there. It has really old Indian cave drawings on the trail and you hike right by a little stream/little waterfall. Here are some ( more like a lot) of the pictures along our hike!

No Egg Cookie Dough

So I was sitting on the couch thinking, "What I could make with my new kitchen aid?" I wanted something sweet but we didn't have eggs so that didn't leave a lot of options. I then went on the very helpful Pinterest and................. (pause for dramatic affect)......... No egg cookie dough! yeah! I quickly whipped it up and ate it so fast i didn't have time to take a picture ( sorry!).  It was so good! I made the chocolate chip cookie dough.

Father's day!

Sorry i haven't really posted anything in a long while. Here is the father's day cake i did for my dad! I decorated a cherry chip cake ( his favorite) with fondant hot dogs and cheese burgers! it was super delish!

 I also got him another father's day gift which is a box that every year on father's day I will put a note in there that he can't read. then when I move away he can read the notes!
